Wedge Face Restoration — Per Club

Bring a worn wedge back to life. Groove restoration, surface refinishing, and optional face contrast. $30 per club.

Wedges wear out from the face in. Grooves round off, the surface glazes over, and you lose the bite that made you buy the club. This restores the face rather than replacing the wedge.

What's included

• Spin groove restoration — existing grooves cleaned out and deepened back toward their original profile
• Surface refinishing — the glazed, polished-smooth face is reconditioned to restore texture and friction
• More bite — restored grooves and surface texture channel debris and moisture the way a fresh wedge does
• Optional face contrast — darkened face for a cleaner sightline and better visual contact at address. Say the word, no extra charge.

Read this before you order — USGA conformity

Restoring grooves can push a club outside USGA groove specifications, which makes it non-conforming for tournament and handicap play. This is true of any groove restoration service, ours included. We'd rather tell you now than have you find out from a rules official.

So you choose:

• Conforming Spec — we restore grooves within USGA dimensional limits. Legal for competition. Recovers most of the lost performance.
• Maximum Bite (non-conforming) — we restore for the most spin the face will give. Practice, casual, and recreational play only. Not legal for sanctioned competition or handicap rounds.

Not sure which you need? If you play in club events, member-guests, or post scores for a handicap, choose Conforming Spec. If in doubt, ask us — we'll talk you through it rather than sell you the wrong one.

What this is not

This is face work. It does not include rust removal on the rest of the head (see our Golf Club Rust Removal, $15/club), engraving, regripping, or reshafting. Bundling rust removal with restoration is common — just order both.

How to order

1. Pick your spec above and set the quantity to the number of clubs.
2. Email jetbeamcustom@gmail.com with your order number, and mention if you want face contrast added.
3. Ship them or drop them off in Miami. We'll send the address.
4. We restore the faces and get them back to you.

Honest note on results

There is a limit to how far a face can be restored. Grooves worn nearly flat, or a face with deep pitting, won't come back to new — we can improve them meaningfully but not resurrect them. Send a photo of the face before ordering and we'll tell you what's realistically achievable. If it isn't worth doing, we'll say so.

Club work is irreversible. It affects resale value and voids the manufacturer's warranty.
